We're a friend group, not a band. Majority Brazilian, with members from Portugal, Argentina, Germany, Poland, the UK and beyond — all of us washed up in Hamburg, all of us metalheads.
Since then it's been friends bringing friends, with Wacken always on the horizon. Now the pack has strays from Colombia, Venezuela, the USA, Brazil, Italy — and, remarkably, even a German. Everyone passes through Hamburg, everyone's a metalhead.
A vira-lata isn't an insult. It's a badge of honour — the underdog, the survivor, the friendliest dog on the street.
We started by meeting at gigs, sharing tickets, splitting Ubers back from Markthalle at 2am. Now we travel as a pack — Wacken, Hellfest, every Tuesday-night thrash show nobody else heard about.
